Prenatal Massage!

So my sis gave me a massage for Christmas and I didn't get around to using it before I found out I was preggo so I decided to wait until 1. I could get one and 2. it would be very helpful! Let me just tell you that it was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed it! The nice lady said that Jeremy should be ashamed that he let me go so long without one as my neck and shoulders were in "bad shape". Although I wasn't hurting that bad before she got started I completely understood what she meant! It was a little painful and intense but I feel so much better now! I think I might have to invest again before Bronner makes his entrance! This is a 31 week pic after my massage! (Thats why my hair is pulled way back and kinda greasy looking! She did a great neck and head massage! Maybe I should send Jeremy to massage school, it would save us a lot of money!)

On another note my BP has been great and hopefully will stay that way! Thanks for the prayers. Ill keep yall updated. I am working this weekend and then mon, tues, and wed. Mom comes on tues and I am so excited. She is going to get to go with me to my appt on wed too! She has yet to hear Bronner's heartbeat so it will be exciting for her I'm sure. Hopefully this week won't be as exciting as the last appt! One more 2 week appt after this and then it is weekly! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying bye! Hope yall have a good weekend and ROLL TIDE! (Jerms is kinda upset that I have to work this weekend as it is the UGA game so maybe I can be on call Sat night since I did work a little extra last night!)

Enjoying vacay!

My few days off so far have been great! We celebrated Jason's bday with tons of great food and fellowship and some shopping! I am trying to get into the nesting thing but it isnt working. Hopefully that means he isnt coming anytime soon. I have been trying to christmas shop and get organized! I have also been working on a play list for my ipod for labor. So if yall have any calm, relaxing, inspiring music let me know! Another goal for the week is Bronner's middle name! Hopefully by the end of the week we can decide since I would really like to get some thing monogrammed! I know that is a little selfish!
The options right now
Bronner McKee (my fav ... jerms is trying to veto it but I keep bringing it back up!)
Bronner Cole
Bronner Lane (my mom thinks this is too girly)
If you have a preference give me you opinion! And if it is Bronner McKee then call/email Jeremy and tell him how much you like it!

30 weeks and counting!

I am so glad to be on vacay! Finally a little time off from work. People keep asking me where we are going when I say I am going on vacay and they laugh when I say to my bed! I have been so tired here recently a week off from work to catch up on sleep and tv seem like a great vacation to me! I went for my 30 week appt on Wednesday and everything just seemed to go wrong. My blood pressure was up in the office and bed rest was mentioned. I have been contracting so I got my first exam and I had an ultrasound to check my fluid level and baby weight. Thankfully my cervix is still closed and my fluid level is great. Baby Bronner weighed in at 3lbs 11 oz which is the 50something %. He is getting so big!! My doctor and I agreed that I would work Wed night on the condition that I monitored my bp all weekend and called her with my bp log on Monday morning with her then making the decision if I needed to come in that afternoon. I have been checking it since Wednesday and it has been great. So hopefully the checks in the office were elevated due to anxiety/nervousness and it will be ok until the end. Not that bed rest is the end of the world as she told me but I would love to use my time off with the baby and not use it all up before he gets here. But I will do whatever for a healthy baby boy! So just pray that it stays ok and I can continue to work and be preggo until term! On the more exciting things, Uncle Jason turns 30 this weekend! We can't wait to celebrate! YAY! Mom and Dad are also back in Houston with power and water and minimal damage to the house. Thanks for your prayers! Hope you have a wonderful day!
*** We are also looking into buying a new camera in the coming weeks so if you have any suggestions let me know! Right now we are leaning toward a Nikon SLR. ***

Moving on up to the 30's!

Well kumquat is officially 30 weeks and 1 day in 15 mins! YAY for a sucessful and easy pregnancy so far. The nursery is complete and he has clothes to wear so now we are just in wait and grow mode! I can't wait to meet him but want him to grow for 8 or so more weeks more than anything else. People keep telling me I am going to be miserable soon so pray that does not happen! So far we are doing wonderful! Next weekend is Uncle Jason's big 30th bday so we will be celebrating all weekend long! After that comes a week off for me and then working the weekend. Both of our baby showers are the first weekend in Oct making us 33 weeks. When you look at it that way, time is going to fly bye! I can't wait to see all the things little man is going to get! We are really excited about celebrating with our families!

On another note my mom and dad evacuted from Houston on Thurs and have yet to return to their house. So please pray it is in good condition, as they bought it not long ago, and nothing is majorly wrong! We are hoping they will make it back to Birmingham in time for Bronner's birth but since I really don't want to be induced we will see what happens. I really want to labor spontaneously if at all possible and just **see** how far a long I can get. I am in no way opposed to getting an epidural but since it is my job to labor with people I believe I should just see how far I personally can go. Now there are many things that could change this plan and in no way am I against being induced if it is for the health of momma or baby or he doesn't come out at his due date (or momma's doctor isnt available to come in, only since I work with these people ... I mean you wouldn't want just anyone looking at your wooha that you had to work with daily would you?!). So please pray in these last weeks that I will be open to God's plan for our labor and delivery and not be stuck on my own! I have an appt on Wed so I will update then with anything new. Hopefully he will be growing appropriately! Hope you have a great week!

Finally finished

Well yesterday was my last monthly appt and now we are moving on up to every 2 weeks! I am kinda excited since that means we are making forward progress in the pregnancy but since it is going to be so often I am going to try going before work. We will see how it goes! Kumquat was doing good, very active and measuring right on track. Of course since I haven't really been gaining any weight I was a little shocked to see that I had doubled ... yep that is right doubled my weight gain. Oh well ... I feel better and am actually enjoying food again! Jerms and I finished the painting on Sunday night and then we started working on putting the furniture together last night. Well we ended up really getting into it and finished the project today so Bronner's room is officially done! We have to get a mattress soon so it can all be put together with bedding and such but overall it looks great! I am so impressed with Jerms handyman skills!! (And we got done in time to PPV the Alabama game all while I was on call from work!) Hope y'all have a great weekend!
