Happy Birthday B!

My biggest little man is turning 3 today! He is super excited about his cookie cake at school and sharing with his friends. He celebrated last night with pizza, cupcakes and a late night in mom and dads bed watching cartoons. What more could a 3 year old want right?! Well we are having an official party but with the way my work schedule is and since little S will be 2 in 6 weeks we are combining this year. So big party planned for the Bama/Auburn game. We are so excited to celebrate our boys with our family!

A little stats update on B:
He thinks he's turning 6 ... no seriously every time you ask him he says he will be 6. He is talking non-stop in full paragraphs and carrying on complete conversations. He loves to talk. He loves to sing and knows the words to not only kids music but adult songs too. I think Jeremy, Bronner, and Sawyer (who by the way sings along now) will belt out anything know to man from memory. Dirt Road Anthem is a fav ... yes my child know the words but he also knows Children of God word for word. He is so cute! We try to video but he won't sing into the camera. He loves going to school, just turned 3 and in a mainly 4 yr old class. He knows his letters, can recognize most of them, spell his name, count as high has needed, and is learning to color inside the lines. My oldest loves to be outside, play trains, and watch Backyardigans or and cartoon in my bed. He sleeps in the same bed as his brother by choice and frequently calls Sawyer his best friend. He has blessed us in ways unimaginable and made us even more thankful to be able to raise him to know and love our Father!

Bronner we love you and can't wait to watch you grow over the next year! Happy Birthday little man!

Summer 2010

This summer has flown bye! I lost track of time and haven't updated this blog at all. Hopefully this fall it will slow down a little bit and I'll have time to blog for my own sake. I would love a record of our life and hope this will become more of a journal for me than anything. The big news of the summer is our SIL is expecting again and we are going to have a new nephew! No name as of yet but he is due on Christmas Eve and we are praying for a full term healthy baby! The boys are growing and learning everyday! This summer we have vacationed twice at the beach and spent many weekends at Neese's pool.

A little update on the boys! Bronner will be 3 in about 6 weeks and is potty trained!! Yay! I LOVE it! He is still waking up wet occasionally but wow is it great during the day time to only have to change 1! He is talking up a storm and I now realize what people mean when they say that their children won't stop talking. Seriously he has a lot to say and a huge imagination! He loves to sing and we have finally gotten him to sing into the video camera Jesus Loves Me and the BIBLE. His new favorite this week is Old McDonald. He can count to 20 or so, knows all his vowels and their sounds, and can recognize a few letters. He is a joy and makes our life so entertaining!

Sawyer will be 2 in just a few months and is such a snuggle bug. He loves to be held and always wants his mommy. I love it! Unless I'm in the middle of something but even then he won't always want me to hold him so I am enjoying it! He is starting to talk more in sentences instead of pointing and one word communication. He is catching up with Bronner but I don't think that he will be such a talker. He also loves to sing and dance. Both boys have a love for dancing with the TV. Sawyer loves to eat and has a passion for "gummies" or fruit snacks. He will eat anything. Both boys are great sleepers and eaters. We have recently moved the boys into a room together. Sawyer is now in a toddler bed like Bronner. Bronner was scared in his room by himself so he had been sleeping the queen bed in Sawyer's room so we broke down Sawyer's crib into a toddler bed and moved him into Bronner's room and then moved Bronner back to his toddler bed. They have loved it! We have a new rule that you can talk and or sing until you fall asleep but no crying or whining. It really has worked. You can hear them talking/singing for about 15 mins or so and then all is quiet. It has been a much easier transition than I thought it would be! Last week we went to see the Lion King and the boys loved it! It was our first family movie experience and Bronner talks about going back to the big tv with popcorn all the time. I think it was a hit! There were not many people in the theater and we have the whole row to ourselves. The boys loved dancing to the songs and I think we are going to have to buy it for our own collection!

Not much else going on. We are heading into fall my favorite time of the year. College football is in full swing and we are loving it. The boys love to wear their Bama clothes and yell Roll Tide. Jeremy loves having them watch the game with him! Hopefully some cute fall photos coming soon! If only it would get a little cooler so they could wear long sleeves! I am still sewing some but mainly only for my kids and gifts. I would love to expand and sell to others but I don't have time. Kinda stinks but the bills have to be paid! Work is going well and we move into our new building on December 2! Can't wait! Jeremy is working hard and long hours and he has the boys at night when I work. We seem to be a lot of tag team parenting but it is working for now. How long it will stay this way I don't know but for now it seems to be going well. My dream for more kiddos might change that but we will see in the years to come! So that's our summer update! Lots of fun, sun and swimming!

So I Just Don't Know Where the Time Has Gone!

Time is just flying by these days! I can't seem to keep up with being a wife, chasing boys, working full time, sewing for fun, and actually blogging. One day it will slow down and then I will miss the busyness I am sure! I am still working full time for now ... hoping to be part time in the next year or so! We will see how my plan and how reality work out. We were blessed with a great deal on a new to us Suburban and really want to pay it off and be debt free again so I need to keep on working! The boys are growing like weeds!

B is talking up a storm, loves to watch tv and some how can quote/sing a song off a movie the second time he sees it (def not from me!), loves to read, play outside, see his "friends", and snuggle with mommy! He weighed in at 33lbs yesterday at the doctor and is tall and thin. He is still in a 2t but some of the shirts are getting a little short. I'm hoping to make it through the summer though! Little S is now putting 2-4 words together and talking a lot. He LOVES to eat and will eat all day and anything you give him. He weighed in at 28lbs yesterday. The boys are starting to play together and entertain each other which is great and makes life a little easier! They both love to play outside and I can now leave the back door open and they love to play on the back porch.

We recently went to the GA Aquarium and they loved it! They loved all the fish and B especially loved the penguins. There is a crawl through tunnel in the penguin exhibit and he stayed in it forever. He thought them tapping the glass with their beaks was fab! We have spent many weekends at the in laws because the boys love it! The love Brody but only call him "baby". Hopefully by next summer they will all be running around together. We are looking forward to our beach trip and can't wait to spend the summer at Neese's pool!

So Once Again I Haven't Blogged in a Long Time!

It seems like the bigger the kids get the less time I have to blog. I wonder why. Maybe because my 14 month old is into everything!!! I mean everything. We only thought that B had it bad. S now know how to open the toilet ... what a disaster for a curious little boy who loves water! So to catch you up on our little families lives in a few short minutes before I hit the pillow myself.

B is now 28 months old and learning every day. He is obsessed with batteries and wants to put them in everything. If something dies it just needs it batteries replaced. We recently tried to explain that when animals die they go to heaven ... well that didn't go over to well. They just need new batteries right mom?! He loves trains especially his "baby" trains that he got for Christmas. He loves to play on our Iphones and can probably work the better than I can. One day his daddy found him watching Thomas on netflix on the Iphone. Seriously. How does he figure this stuff out. I didn't even know that we had netflix on the iphone. He loves to eat too. He is really into trees (broccoli), sticks (celery), peaches, and tomatoes right now. He will eat just about anything but has started to refuse meat and bananas again. Weird I know. He talks up a storm carrying on full paragraph conversations which is really fun. He loves fish, the animals at the zoo, and to chase Chloe. He won't hold a lizard or touch much but he sure loves to watch. He recently got a new haircut that I despise but what can a girl do but let it grow. His sweet baby hair is all gone! He wears a size 7.5-8 shoe, 2T pants, and a 2T shirt (some of which are to short). He must get that long torso from his daddy!

Little S, the baby so far is catching up to his big brother. He has his 15 month appointment at the end of the month. I can't believe it. He is starting to be a little bit more verbal. Saying eat, cup, and cheese still but also adding "coco" for chloe, byebye with a wave and a smile, and "jes" for yes. He really like to say "jes" a lot when asked if he wants to eat. He yells it then runs to the highchair. He is an avid eater and will eat anything in front of him. He will not be long about catching his brother in weight and not far behind him in height. I can't wait to see what the end of the month appt has to say! He loves to take a bath and be in the water, play with the trains his brother has, and love on his mommy. He is definitely a mommy's boy but calls me and J both dadda. I guess it will work for now but we will have to be working on the soon! B and S have finally started playing together some. Mainly the wrestle and play trains. They love to get in the tent together and play. It is really neat to watch them grow!

Not much else is going on in our little family. Both J and I are working all the time and seem to hardly see each other. This weekend at home was much needed even though I was a little under the weather on Saturday and we really didn't do anything. We have recently taken family trips to the zoo and the mall (for some reason a little B fav!). We are planning on a trip to the aquarium sometime soon but no set date and look forward to family time at the beach this summer!

Lots of catching up to do!

So its been awhile since I have blogged and I really wanted to do it every week. It just seems like life is flying bye and this gets pushed to the back burner. So anyways to catch up since last time!

At the end of November we celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends. We had tons of fun with Brody and enjoyed eating a little to much! Bronner and Sawyer are getting bigger everyday and it is hard to believe that they will both be running and playing next year. My mom ended up staying with us for thanksgiving and keeping B home from daycare since he had been sick. He had pneumonia for almost 4 weeks. We did different abx treatments with different combinations and finally he was well in the beginning of December. Well after being well for about 10 days Sawyer got a cold/virus and then B came down with it. He couldn't seem to shake and spiked a 103 temp. Back to the ped we went and he was diagnosed with *probable childhood asthma*. He was put on Singulair at bedtime and it has made a tremendous difference! It took about 3 full weeks to notice any difference but now that I have he is so much better! Hoping we can stay virus and fever free!

Besides fighting colds in December we had lots of Christmas parties and birthday things going on. S turned 1! I can't believe that my littlest man is one! We had a party at the house with just a few family members and celebrated his life. He is such a special little guy and I am so blessed to be his mom. We had to delay his 1 year check up until 1/7/11 because of it falling in the holiday weeks. They were only seeing sick kids at the time. So when we finally went he was 25 lbs 9oz and 31 inches long. He is in the 90% for height and 80% for weight. He has started walking alot more and in the last week or so has almost completely starting walking over crawling. Thankfully he took after B and cruised until he was confident so we haven't had many spills! No black eyes yet either unlike his brother's first bday! S is now saying cup, mama, dada, eat, poppop, side, and will mimic a few other things. He has 8 teeth and the cutest little smile! He is finally starting to get some hair and much like his brother I assume it will starting coming in good now! He is in 18mo clothes and hopefully will slim up some so he can stay in them for the summer so I don't have to buy a whole new wardrobe! He loves to eat though so we will see!

The boys fair ed well at Christmas to say the least! They got way way way to much stuff. The big hits have been baby Thomas trains, the tent, the buzz walking toy S got for his bday, and all of the little people truck/airplanes/buses. Our house truly looks like the toddler boy aisle of TRU! Mom and dad are re landscaping the front of the house for J and I so I will have to post pictures when they are finished. It is taking way longer than planned due to snow but that another story in itself. We got to see little Brody again for Christmas but unfortunately I was sick and didn't get to hold him much! We need to live closer to that little man. He is so stinkin cute and tiny!

For New Years we spent the evening with Js family and played games and hung out. It was a blast and thankfully I was on the mend for the supposed "24 hour bug" that really lasted 4 days. J attempted to make a pineapple martini like they have a Firebird and it was great but not as good as theirs. If he would only follow the directions and let it sit for 21 days before he got into it I bet it could compete!

The first full weekend in January I had to work and it was predicted to snow. Well the snow ended up coming in on Sunday night and I was stuck at work. The day girls had to come in and we had to stay. We were stuck until Wednesday morning. Technically I could have gone home on Tuesday afternoon but I had already switched around thinking I would be stuck there so I just worked it. It was miserable and I am so glad it is over but we did try and make the best of it. I helped delivery 3 1/11/11 babies even though I was so excited not to be scheduled that day! We got about and 1-1.5 of ice. No snow at work just plain old sleet and ice and I guess since it didn't get above freezing until Tuesday that is why we didn't get to leave. I am just so glad that it's over and I have had a nice long break from that place. I love my job don't get me wrong but even though it is happy and joyous it is still a job and I am still away from my kiddos and sometimes I just don't want to go. Ok I take that back most of the time I just don't want to go. I would rather stay home with my babies but that doesn't look like it is going to be happening anytime soon so I am just going to try and get over it!

Moving on! I got a new monogramming program for Christmas that I am so excited about! I have used it once and I can't wait to use it some more. I hope to make a little side money in the months to come but every time I sit down to sew I am so tired I would rather just go to bed. Hopefully as the boys get a little older and are able to entertain themselves there will be more time for things like that! I am also on a weight loss journey. Officially started on 1/3/11 and am losing. 1st goal will hopefully be met by my birthday weekend and then my official goal by June when we have a condo booked at the beach. We have some trips coming up soon! Jeremy is taking me to Gatlinburg for my bday and I am so excited!! We haven't ever left our kids overnight except B twice while I was in the hospital with my gallbladder and once when I delivered S. I don't know that I am really ready to do it but I know that they will be fine. Many of our friends and family leave their kids all the time and at a lot younger ages than our but it still makes me nervous to be so far away. I know they will be ok but I guess I am just not used to the idea of someone actually wanting to keep them or me allowing someone to do something for me. Something I seriously need to get over! But anyways I am excited to have some time with just J and SLEEP! I am so excited to sleep and sleep some more. Hopefully I won't waste the whole time sleeping but if I do it will be so worth it. The sauna and hot tub will get some use too I'm sure as they are two of my favs! Maybe I'll even treat myself to a massage. I mean we didn't go anywhere for our 5 year anniversary because I didn't want to leave the kids. I deserve it right ;)! We also have book a trip with Js family to the beach this summer. Brody will be 9 mos of so, B 2.5 and S 18mos. I can't wait to see all the boys at the pool/lazy river and at the beach. We are going to have a blast! Mom has also booked a condo for the week of July 4th and hopefully we can get down there then too. Anyways enough for tonight. The boys are growing and growing! Hopefully pics soon to follow!

Bronner Turned 2

So we have officially entered the two year old phase! Everything is mine or no or I dont want it. Yep we have an attitude but it is so stinkin funny it is hard not to laugh! Bronner turned 2 on November 10th, 2010. We celebrated his life at a birthday party on the 6th with family. We had a Thomas cake (which by the way he is obsessed with), lots of good food, and time to visit with family. Mimi came into town for the celebration and stayed and spoiled the boys for a week. They also got to stay with Neese and Poppop for the party. Bronner has developed so much in the last few weeks. He is talking so well and can easily carry on a conversation, counts items up to 15 or so, knows most of his colors, has learned to jump, hits a ball with a bat, and loves his bicycle but we are still learning to use the pedals. Tonight Jerms and I were shocked while watching his beloved Thomas he named all of the trains at the end of to show. He loves his trains and new table that he got for his birthday and will sit and play for an hour or so! It is so nice that he is getting to the age that I don't have to constantly entertain him! He loves tv and we have to limit his time or he would watch it all the time. I think I am more concerned than Jerms and I'm not quite so sure what they do on nights that I'm not home! He loves the "backagains" (backyardagains", "gabba" (yo gabba gabba), and "gogo" (go diego go). He like the "pets" (wonderpets) too but they have fallen down the list. He loves to sing with the "backagains" and tonight while playing in the tub he heard them on in the living room and started singing with them. It is so funny to hear his rendition of the theme song! He is still using the potty occasionally but we haven't been pushing as hard as before because they aren't taking him at school so I figure what's the use. When they are willing to work with him too then we will start back. Probably after the first of the year. Bronner has been really sick over the last few weeks and we have been on, off, and back on antibiotics for pneumonia. Hopefully this round will cure it and when we go back for our appointment on the 16th he will finally be well! Praying so anyways!
Little Sawyer isn't so little any more! He is growing up so incredibly fast. It seems every time I turn around he is doing something new. He is pulling up but not quite cruising yet. He has 4 teeth, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. He loves his walker and chasing his brother or Chloe around the house. It is amazing how fast he can get around in that thing! He also loves to do anything his brother is doing, play trains, read books, watch tv, or take a bath. He is so content when you take him outside he will sit for hours on the back deck. He loves to be in the tub or the water and will sit and play with Bronner for 30 mins or so each night. They love splashing each other and having a good time. They are finally starting to really interact with each other but with that comes the brotherly fighting too. I can't wait to watch them grow together over the next few years! Sawyer loves to eat, continues to eat 3 meals a day, a few snacks here and there, and nurse 4x a day. He is a chunky fellow and I love it!
Sorry for the long delay. Hopefully I will be better about posting! We recently have spent time at the pumpkin patch with the Hester's, at Trunk or Treat at church, and Bronner's birthday party. It seems like life is flying bye and I never have a spare second to write! Hopefully that will change soon and it will calm down soon but with the Holidays fast approaching I'm thinking probably not. Surely I will get to post again with pics but since it takes awhile to upload them and then it interferes with Call of Duty I have to wait :)! Yep I get the wife of the week award because I surprised Jerms with the new game!

10/10/10

10/10/10 was a great day at our house. Little Sawyer cut his first two teeth, the middle top and learned to pull up! I have a feeling that he is going to be into everything shortly! Bronner is now 23 months old and singing his ABC's, randomly counts to 14, can id Thomas and Percy any where we go and loves to be outside. I can't believe how fast my little guys are growing up!

Sawyers 9month checkup

So I'm sitting in the publix parking lot waiting on little S to finish a nap so I thought I'd update with our stats from the morning. He's 23 lbs and 2oz. Only 7 oz less than B at a year! He's also 29 inches so definitely leading his big bro in both departments. His check up went great. No concerns and they think he looks great! We got shots but he really did well with them. Only a few secs of crying! He has really started army crawling fast these days and gets anywhere he needs to be. He's jabbing away and loves Bronner. He's one happy little man and is such a joy to raise! I will try to post pics soon!

Long over due for an update!

Well my weekly blogging has gone downhill recently but it is because we have been SO busy! Since I last blogged Bronner has begun talking. I only thought he spoke well before. I mean the words he uses are unbelieveable and he's using complete sentences to the point we can carry on a conversation. It's so awesome to watch him develop. It's like you can see his mind working. He can count to fourteen spontaneously now, knows the sounds of countless animals, prays before meals, sits in a booster seat, is in a big boy bed, poops in the potty, working on potty training, is in love with all things boy except bugs, constantly wants to watch Thomas, and loves being outside. He is growing way to fast. It seems like yesterday we were pregnant. He's now 22 months and fast approaching our 2nd birthday party!!

Sawyer will be 9 months in a few days. Time really is flying bye. He is army crawling and getting around well. We go for our 9 month visit soon and I can't wait to see his stats. He started crawling on labor day, he loves to eat, is still nursing 5-6 times a day, eats 5 jars of baby food a day, loves crawling after Bronner and Chloe, and giggles uncontrollably when tickled. He still has no teeth or hair both of which I love. His toothless grin is priceless! He is a great sleeper and an all around joy. I found him eating dog food today and he thought it was great! He's such a funny little guy!

Alabama has started football again so that consumes our saturdays and we love it! I can't wait for cooler weather, lazy Saturdays at home, and a big pot of chili! Sounds so good. The boys look so cute all dressed for the game. I'll have to post pictures soon.

In our newest news we are an aunt and uncle for the first time as of yesterday 9/15/10 Brody entered the world. At 31.6 weeks and 3 lbs 3 oz and 16 3/4 inches. He so long and skinny!! He's mighty cute too and he opened his eyes for Dyana, Tammy, and I today! Hopefully about a month from now he'll be going home and growing well! I can't wait for Dyana and him to snuggle I know she's ready too!

So that's our month late update! Hopefully I'll get better at this blogging thing soon!

Summer Pics

This week S is finally sitting well enough to enjoy bath time with his brother! I think showers are over for now because the boys LOVE being in the tub together and it is so easy!

Our trip to the beach the weekend after the 4th of July! We enjoyed our time there so much and tried to get a classic photo to remember it by!
This is Bronner's I'm not cooperating with this picture face! It is one of the best ones from our 4th of July party. Their shirts turned out so cute for night before project! Love me some applique now that Katie taught me how it do it!

So that's all for tonight. Just some pics to get myself caught up! I put a blanket over the packnplay so that I could use the computer and it is working great! Not even so much as a wimper from my little man! He is not having a good day so hopefully some sleep will help. I think tooth number 1 might be on it's way even though we don't feel anything. His diapers and tummy say something's just not right! Bronner peed on the potty today too! We have pooped twice but accomplished peeing today! YAY! Now if only I had the motivation to fully potty train him. Hopefully by the time he's two we will have it down! Part of me can't wait for the day just to have one in diapers due to the cost but the other part ... probably the bigger part ... doesn't want to see my baby grow up. He is growing too fast!

A Lazy Weekend

We have had a busy week which means it's time for a lazy weekend! We have laid around all day! Little S isn't feeling so good and is most likely teething but taking him out isn't an option unless ofcourse I want to clean up explosive poop at Target! He is growing so fast!! Now he's sitting well and clapping which is so cute! He loves to steal his brothers juice and laugh when he gets it. The boys are much more interactive these days and just took their first bath together last night which is so fun! B is all over the place and into everything. He still doesn't nap well but we are still sleeping late in the mornings which helps. He learns words everyday and uses the appropriately. He is learning all about fish and sharks this week in shark week with J! We are all looking forward to a visit from Poppy and Mimi this coming week and I'll try to post pics soon!

Attempting mobile blogging!

So I know so many peole that mobile blog I figured I could try it and it would be much easier to keep up with! Thankfully things have slowed down around here some! The boys went to Neese's house last weekend while I work and I took call Saturday night and Katie and I had a sewing date! It was much needed and we got a ton done. I later got called into work so I ended up making money too! Work has been great lately. I got to see a nursing school friend and admit her in spontaneous natural labor which was super fun and she went in to deliver later that morning! Can I just say that spontaneous labor is so fun! Love it! Hopefully if there ever is a next time my body will cooperate! You are supposed to contract after your water breaks!

Bronner is talking so much! Saying some phrases and definitely putting words together! He loves backyardigans especially Pablo the blue bird! We went to bass pro shops today to see the fish but when a catfish swam up with his mouth on the glass in front of B he had had enough! He freaked out and we had to leave! It was pretty cute! He loved the boats and loves to drive anything. He also has a new found love for thomas the train. He has Thomas pjs and asks for them all the time. I'm sure it will only get worse but right now it's pretty cute!

Sawyer is growing up so fast! He is now officially in 9mo clothes! I changed out his closet yesterday with a little helper. We really don't have many pics of B at this age due to mommy laying on the bathroom floor most of the time but they still look just a like to me. Sawyer is sitting really well and will probably be crawling soon. We are going to have to kick him out of our room soon. Just as soon as he gets a crib! I really don't want to but I know it's time for him to go. B was sleeping in his own room at 3.5 mos! I just haven't decided if I'm going to put them together or separate the at first? They will eventually share a room but I just haven't decided. Any suggestions?

Rambling July

July has been a busy month so far. Little B turned 20 months and is fast approaching the big 2! I can't believe that we need to start planning a birthday party so soon. It seems like he just turned 1 but in other ways he has grown up so much in just the last few weeks. He is now talking in phrases and repeating everything you say. He knows the sounds that cows, ducks, and sharks make; he LOVES "Koe" and "Awyer"; he wrestles with Daddy and attempts with his brother when we aren't watching; loves to brush his "keef"; play outside; ride his dump truck; and flush the toilet. He says potty but only after he's gone so we are going to have to work on that one! He eats amazingly well, he must take after Jerms on that. He loves veggies and fruit and would prefer them over meat and cookies. Bananas are the hit this month and are running in a tie for first with tomatoes! He is such a little man with a temper but we are working on learning to control it (also from Jerms!). Little S is now 7 months, or will be on Tuesday. He is sitting for 30 secs or so before crashing over; jumping in the exersaucer; laughing; loves to be on his belly; and is an eating machine. He is now eating stage 2 foods twice a day and cereal once a day. He still takes 5 bottles/nursing sessions in addition. He is taking less with some of the bottles though. Little chunk is getting heavy! He isn't far from crawling and is pushing himself around and rolling to where he wants to go. I can't wait to watch these boys grow! Each age has been my favorite so far. I can't choose. I love them all!

We have spent our time running from place to place. We spent the 4th weekend with Jeremy's parents at the pool and the boys loved it! We then turned around that Thursday and went to the beach for a long weekend to see my mom, sister, aunt, and grandma. It was great and very relaxing. B and S got some more swim time, lots of hugs and kisses, and Jerms and I even went on a date! Only the second time that we have since S was born. It was great to get out and enjoy each others company. Maybe we will do it again soon! We got some great photos of the boys on the beach and I will have to load them later. S still sleeps in our room which is where the computer is also so I can't be to noisy in here! Trying not to wake the sleeping babe if you know what I mean. I have also gotten some really great Christmas outfits lately on ebay! I hope to find B a matching one to the one that I got S tonight. Hopefully to make for some cute shots then! I have been using my sewing machine a good bit, actually made the boys 4th of July shirts and have made baby gifts galore. I can't wait for all these falls babies to come! So enough of my rambling tonight. Hopefully I'll get some pictures loaded soon!

Jeremy's Bday and Sawyers six month

So I promised myself that I would blog weekly but I've been busy and it has gotten put on the back burner for awhile. Over the last few day Sawyer has turned 6 months old and Jeremy has turned 27! Little Sawyer had his 6 month appt today and he is now weighing in at 20lbs and 6oz and it 27 3/4inches long. He is growing up fast and is a big little guy! He is now rolling over both ways very well, cooing a ton, sitting in a tripod sit, and loving his exersaucer! He is such a cute man! Bronner is now 19 months old and talking up a storm! He is putting words together and his favorite phrase is "Where did it go" but it sounds like "Whered go?". He is so funny, loves entertaining his little bother and making him laugh. He has officially mastered climbing and throwing. Our house is a constant baseball field. My little guys are growing up fast! What am I going to do?! Jeremy is celebrating his bday with weekend with family and we also went out to celebrate with sushi last night!

We found out recently that we are going to have a nephew named Brody! We can't wait until November to meet him! Jeremy's cousin is also expecting and they too are having a boy! It is going to be boy central next summer at the pool! We can't wait.

We are going to the pool this weekend for Jeremy's family reunion and next we are headed to Gulf Shores for the weekend to meet my mom. I can't wait for her to see how the boys have grown. She isn't going to believe it.

Work has been going well lately! I got to help Katie deliver Amy's little Fuller! She did great and hopefully had a birth experience she will remember with great joy. I have had some natural patients lately but haven't been able to deliver them. I just finished orienting a new employee and am back to being by myself again. Kinda weird after 12ish weeks of orientation! I have also been making the boys some super cute clothes. I will have to post pics of their 4th of July shirts after they wear them tomorrow! Anyways I need to run but just wanted to update with Sawyer's stats before I forgot them! Hopefully I'll have time to post Sunday night!

Pool Time Fun

Memorial Day was my weekend to work this year so the boys took off on Friday to J's parents house to spend the weekend and Monday. It was a long 4 days of work for me but the boys sure had fun! The following weekend we went back to celebrate my SIL Dyana's bday and spend the weekend at the pool! We has a blast. B loves it and S seemed to enjoy his time as well. DeAnna and Jen brought their kids over on Saturday for awhile and we all loved spending time together. We celebrated Karsyn's 3rd birthday on Sunday and the boys were loved on my Grandma Roberts and their aunts. Not much else has been going on around here besides the normal day to day.
B turns 19 months today! Oh how time flies. I can't believe he is getting so big. He comes home filthy from school every day from playing outside which is his favorite things to do. He is talking a lot. Most of which we still can't understand but we are picking up more words daily. He has started to count to 3 but you have to prompt him with the number 1. He can sing the ABC's somewhat and always get the letters P and Z right! He is sitting on his potty but has yet to do anything but hopefully soon! I just can't believe that my baby is growing up so fast. He will be 2 before we know it.
Little S is growing too! He is almost six months now and is laughing all the time. He is an angel baby and I couldn't have asked for a better one. The only bad thing is it makes me want another one! Maybe one day.

This Time a Year Ago

Last year when B was this age we found out we were expecting little S! This year we aren't so blessed as to be expecting again. Last year we found out April 23 that we were pregnant and B was 5 months old. This year on May 23 Sawyer is 5 months old and we are as happy as can be! Another baby might come along in the future but for now we will have a ton of fun raising our two boys!

Where have 5 months gone?

Sawyer Reed is 5 months old! How can it be? He is getting so big. We have started rice cereal and he is finally sleeping better again. Hopefully it lasts! He is now completely rolling over, starting to enjoy sitting in his exersaucer, and has outgrown his swing. Look who I found sitting in it today!
Bronner had his 18 month check up today and weighed in at 27 lbs 10oz and is 32.5 inches long. He is in the 75% for his height and weight. He is doing great! We are going to start on some Zyrtec to see if that will help with the constant congestion. Hopefully it will. Dr S gave us a clean bill of health and we don't have to go back for 6 months!

My little garden is doing so good! My pepper plants are blooming and my zucchini have some buds that are about to bloom! I can't wait to see the finished product. Hopefully I can keep it alive that long! So far I have only lost one plant. I think that is a pretty good ratio! My daylilys have also started blooming. I love them! They are so pretty and how I wish they lasted more than a day!

Here are some more pics from the last few weeks! Hope you enjoy!

A Busy Week

This week was a busy one around our house! All the normal work, sleep during odd and normal hours, clean, laundry, chase/feed/diaper/discipline babies plus it was Caitlin's graduation from Samford. Jeremy's mom and dad came on Friday for the day and kept the kiddos while I went to a doctor's appt. All was well and NO Kelley we aren't preggo again ... yet! Jeremy and his dad also made a gate for the top of the stairs so that B can play outside on the deck without me worrying about him falling down the stairs. It is great and it matches perfectly! Saturday we spent the day at Samford and Cait's appt and the boys got to play with Karsyn and Carter. Corbin stayed home with Joey for some one on one time and I'm sure that they had a blast but we did miss them! We got some cute family pics at the SU campus and I will have to post them soon but the camera is elsewhere and I honestly don't feel like finding it and downloading the pics tonight! We also got to see Dee's new baby's u/s pics and video and they were so cute. He is definitely a boy! Today we spent the afternoon at the zoo and unfortunately got soaked on the way to the car but had a great time. B loved spending time with Mimi and Poppy and riding the carousel! All in all it had been a great weekend!

Our garden is coming along and all of our plants except one squash seem to be doing good. Hopefully the rain today and a little fertilizer tomorrow will perk it back up. I have a little bug that is eating my pepper leaves so I am going to have to get something to take care of that problem too but hopefully in the next few weeks we will see some major growing on those straw bales!

Well this week doesn't seem like it is going to slow down any but hopefully I will get time to post some pics!

Spring Time Fun

It has been a busy few weeks since I last blogged! I am going to try and be a lot better about this. My sis in law showed me a website that will print your blog into a book like a journal and I loved it so I am going to do my best to keep up and then print at the end of the year! I am so looking forward to it!

Anyways in the last few weeks Sawyer had his 4 month check up and everything went great. He got his shots and tolerated them well. No fever or anything. He was in the 95% for weight at 17lbs 2oz and 98% for height at 26 1/2 inches! He is a big boy with some chunky monkey cheeks and everybody loves it! He has started rolling over, "talking" more, and laughing. Bronner can make him laugh and it is so cute to watch them together. He is sitting in his bumbo and soon will be ready for his exersaucer. Bronner goes for his 18 month check up in a week or so and I am anxious to see where he falls. He has been gradually falling on the growth chart to a more normal weight/height but always in coordination with one another. I am guessing he will be about the 75%. He is growing like a little weed, has started running, minds well, and is really into being outside. We just bought him a little kiddy pool and tried it out this weekend at Neese's. Unfortunately he didn't love it. Maybe on a warmer day he will get into it! I hope he loves it so we can enjoy some outdoor time this summer! We have recently enjoyed trips to the zoo and the botanical gardens. Bronner loves the zoo and we hope to frequent there this summer! The gardens were gorgeous and we got some really cute pics!

We spent yesterday at Neese's for mother's day. Dyana and Jason were over and I got to see their u/s pics! I am so excited to find out if its a boy or girl! I'm pulling for a girl so I can get my bow and headband with the big flower fix! Although a boy would be fun too since he would be so close in age with our boys. Jeremy and Bronner braved the pool on Friday afternoon but Saturday it was to cold to get in. Maybe in a few more weeks it will warm up enough for us to enjoy some lazy Saturdays over there.
Today was Mother's day and it was great. It was our week to keep the nursery at church and then we went out to lunch. To the Mexican place we frequent almost every Sunday. Bronner and Jeremy then took at 2 hour nap and Sawyer and I played and nursed and napped a little too! It was great getting some one on one time with my baby. Jeremy and B then went to run some errands aka get mom a card :) while S and I enjoyed some time outside. We, really I, have started a straw bale garden. I read about the technique online and it looked easy and cheap so I gave it a try. You have to "prepare" your bales and then about 10 days later you plant. But supposedly you don't have weeds and such. We will see how it goes. I planted today and there are 2 tomato plants, 2 squash, 2 cantaloupes, a cucumber, some peppers, and a watermelon. I am so excited to see how it goes. I also know I have lived in AL to long because I have tomato plants planted in huge decorative pots by the front steps! But this is my reasoning 1. no one uses the front door 2. it gets the most sun and 3. who really cares if they taste good! I hope we get tons of tomatoes. I really would love to make some salsa to put up and maybe some marinara sauce. I know being adventurous but hey I have energy now that there is no baby in my belly!
This coming week is going to be a busy one. Mom and Dad are coming on Friday for Cait's graduation. I can't believe that she is graduating this weekend! I am excited for her and excited to see all the family that will be in town for the festivities! Well I promise more to come soon! I hope to blog weekly for myself more than anything. Really to journal our lives!

Random Thoughts.

These sweet boys are growing up right in front of my eyes! Bronner is now 16 months old and into everything! And we love it! He is so outgoing and full of personality. He really is becoming a sweet little boy and not the baby he once was. He definitely is starting to know what he likes and what he doesn't. He has recently learned that he can scream. Like really loudly! It gets on my nerves so bad. I don't know how to discipline this? We do spank ... only occasionally and for certain things ... I don't think this warrants spanking but a 16 month old doesn't do time out. What else can be done except saying no. It is really getting old fast!! Sawyer is growing up too. Now 3 months old and getting chunky! He almost weighs 15 lbs. I can't believe how fast life is flying bye!
Mimi and Poppy on a recent trip to Firebirds before leaving for UT for awhile!
I have been back at work for about a month now. Waterbirthing under my belt again and loving it! I love natural childbirth! I know I say that all the time but I do. I really wish I could quit my job and be a doula but we need insurance. Well maybe now in this new era of socialism we won't but who wants to rely on the government to supply all their needs? I guess that is a silly question. There are tons of people who do it everyday! So anyway. Dream job ... stay at home with my kiddos and doula about 3 births a month! It would be great. I love being the support person for a natural patient and the great thing about being a doula is you have no liability in the matter. You aren't the one sued if something goes terribly wrong!! The ONLY part of my job that I really don't like. I mean people think that Labor and Delivery is all fun and games ... that is until the unthinkable happens. The unthinkable has been happening at work all the time recently. Miscarriage is like one after the other. I don't know why or what is happening but please make it stop! I love the happy stories we are used to not the sad ones we have been seeing lately. It definitely makes me appreciate my two healthy children more and more but it also makes me think about my own miscarriage. Definitely the most devastating thing that has ever happened to us. It helped our marriage, made us closer, confirmed how badly we both really wanted to be parents, and many more things but I wouldn't wish it on anyone. We have TONS of friends that are preggo right now. It is crazy. Is it crazy that I have a 3 month old and really want to preggo again. Yeah I guess it is! I am thankful for my IUD but part of my heart longs to be preggo again. Maybe one day.

I recently bought a new sewing / embroidery machine and I love it! I never thought I was crafty / artsy but I love using it and it is very relaxing. Now if only I can find a little girl to make things for. I mean sure it is fun to make things for my boys but girls clothes and such are so much more fun to make! Maybe my SIL will have a girl and I can make her all kinds of cute little things. Yep I said SIL. She is preggo and due right after B's 2nd birthday! I couldn't be more excited!!! We love expanding the family and maybe it will cure my baby fever.
Jeremy and Bronner feeing the birds at our recent Zoo trip. Bronner loved it, J not so much!
Well technically I don't really have baby fever. Honestly I just want to be about 32 weeks preggo, feel the baby move, feel great and glowing, and then have those last few weeks before I deliver. Those were the weeks that I love. I know that they are usually the most miserable but they were the greatest for me. I guess I wasn't hooked up to my pump or recovering from surgery. But honestly I really want to deliver again. To see if I can be in more control and experience the "high" of NCB. Yeah you get a high when you don't have an epidural. It is like the "I'm the best mom in the world and I can do anything high". It's a great feeling!! I really hope she has a girl!!

A new pic to end this random post! Just wanted to catch yall up on what has been happening around here and keep up to date for myself! Hopefully I will be more frequent in my postings soon!
Brothers ... getting so big!
